It measures 8 mm wide x 1mm thick. About 5/16 of an inch. It is forged, soldered, sanded and polished as well as each letter is individually hand stamped with "your" special words. It is very comfortable to wear. I made the sample ring above quoting a name of a little boy. But, you can say whatever you like. You may add your children's names or a special quote meaningful to yourself. I will try to stamp it if it fits depending on the size you order. PLEASE NOTE: 14k Gold filled metal is just as beautiful as a solid gold ring, however, it has the ability to tarnish because in the process of creating this ring I may expose areas of the inner core metal which is brass.
