Varietal: Pinot Noir Far West in the Sonoma Coast, just a short drive to the Pacific Ocean, lies one of northern California’s best Pinot & Chard vineyard, named UV after it’s founder Ulysses Valdez. Maxem is a micro-producer, basically just a husband and wife making wine in their garage. But this is really, really good garage wine, and on the radar of cult wine collectors.
