Transfer mugs are a fun + colorful style mug!  Think "temporary tattoo" for pottery.  But there is nothing temporary about it!  Each design is printed with underglaze on tissue-like paper material and then applied to greenware (before it's been fired in the kiln) pottery.  You then take a damp sponge and transfer the image on the paper to the pottery. The piece is then bisque and glaze fired in the kiln.  They are a fun way to add a little more artsy flare to your pottery pieces!  They are a personal favorite of mine to make!
