Arapaho Hybrid Cayenne Pepper F1

Arapaho Cayenne Pepper is a hybrid, hot pepper variety that is early-maturing and can be harvested 10-14 days before standard cayenne pepper varieties. This is a high-yielding variety with fruits that average 8-9" long at maturity. The plants are compact, but will benefit from a trellis support as they become loaded with fruits. Arapaho Cayenne Pepper is a great variety for frying or making salsa. The fruits are initially green and mature to a deep red, where the flavor is the most pronounced. These peppers have thick walls and are moderately hot (2,000-4000 Scoville units) with sweet tones.
