This is an augmented supersweet variety, which means it contains both sh2 and se corn genotypes. The sh2 genes provide exceptional sweetness while the se genes make the kernels nice and tender. This is a high-yielding variety with plants that average 88" tall. The ears have a uniform tip fill with kernels extending all the way to the tip of the ear. Because it contains supersweet kernels, this variety holds well after harvesting and will remain sweet for 10 days in cold storage. This is a great variety for fresh market or backyard gardens and tastes great on the cob or creamed. Sweet corn should be planted in the spring after the last frost date. Sweet corn can be grown throughout the warmer months up until fall, as long as time is permitted for harvest before first frost. Succession planting is recommend
