Momentum Bush Bean

This variety is the most productive bush bean we've ever grown. Plants have a bush, upright growing habit which makes for cleaner harvests. Momentum is widely-adapted and performs well across the entire country. Pods are dark green and best harvested at 5.5" long. This bush bean variety has a concentrated fruit set which makes for quick and easy harvesting. It is also very stress-tolerant and heat-tolerant and will continue to produce pods as temperatures warm in early summer. Beans should be planted in spring after the last frost has occurred. Beans will germinate best once soil temps have reached 65 F or higher. Optimal germination temperature is around 77 F. Seeds can require 8 to 16 days to germinate, depending on the soil temperature.
