Peaches and Cream Sweet Corn has is a bicolor hybrid with white and yellow kernels that provide two different flavors in each bite. With a name like Peaches and Cream, you know it has to be good. It is a sugary-enhanced (se) variety, which means it matures slightly earlier than standard varieties. Sugary-enhanced sweet corn also can store longer in cold storage, usually up to 10 days without losing its sweetness. Peaches and Cream Sweet Corn plants produce long flags that do a great job of covering and protecting the 8.5" long ears. While it is known for its fresh-eating quality, it also performs well when creamed and frozen in bags for later. Sweet corn should be planted in the spring after the last frost date.
