Red Bull Brussels Sprouts

Red Bull Brussels Sprouts are a productive, open-pollinated variety with dark red sprouts. This variety has a delicate, nutty flavor that is milder than the traditional, green Brussels Sprouts. Flavor and color are enhanced with frosts throughout fall and winter. Red Bull Brussels Sprouts have plants that are 3' tall and produce sprouts that are 1-2" in diameter. The dark red sprouts are very nutritious and hold their color throughout the entire cooking process. Red Bull Brussels Sprouts are great when roasted or cooked in the air fryer. Brussels sprouts may be direct-seeded, but perform best when transplanted. Transplanting allows for more consistent plant spacing, and prevents Brussels sprouts seedlings from competing with weeds in the early stages of the plant.
