Roxanne Hybrid Radish F1

Roxanne Radish is a hybrid radish variety that holds well and is less prone to split at larger sizes. As opposed to other varieties that tend to get pithy when the radishes get larger, Roxanne holds very well and maintains a crisp flavor as the radishes enlarge. This variety was awarded an All-America Selection in 2015. Roxanne Radish produces bright red roots with a creamy, white interior. It has an excellent flavor when used raw, but can also be cooked to reduce the "bite." Roxanne is widely-adapted and trials have shown that it performs well in all growing regions. We recommend succession planting during the spring and fall months for a continual harvest. Radishes perform best when direct seeded with a walk-behind planter like our Hoss Garden Seeder. We recommend using a modified #1 plate or #2 plate with holes drilled to the appropriate size for the seed being used. Seed size can vary from one variety to the next, so seed plate hole size should always be calibrated to fit the seed
