Sun Angel Hybrid Spinach F1

Sun Angel Spinach is a hybrid variety with exceptional heat-tolerance and disease resistance. As opposed to FanTail, which has an oval leaf, this variety produces a round leaf with a smooth surface. It has a dark green color that is visually appealing and is especially suited for salads and other raw preparations. Sun Angel Spinach grows great when planted densely in beds. This is a great variety to plant in a 2-3' wide bed or in an entire raised bed. This is a cut-and-come-again type crop that can be harvested several times throughout the growing season. Harvest with a sharp knife by cutting the leaves while leaving the root structure intact. Sun Angel Spinach may be direct-seeded or transplanted. Transplanting allows for more consistent plant spacing and prevents seedlings from competing with weeds in the early stages of the plant. We recommend starting transplants 3-4 weeks before the desired outdoor planting date. Spinach transplants grow great in our heavy-duty seed starting trays
