Sweet Dumpling Squash

Sweet Dumpling Squash is an open-pollinated, delicata-squash type that produces sweet, personal sized fruits. These fruits are shaped like a miniature pumpkin and have an ivory coloration with dark green stripes. Fruits average 4" in diameter and weigh about 1 lb each. Sweet Dumpling Squash have a delicate, light yellow flesh and are incredibly sweet. You can cut these in half, roast them and eat the delicious meat with a fork. Or you can use these for stuffing and add any number of toppings you'd like. Plants are prolific and typically produce 8-10 fruits per plant. Sweet Dumpling Squash may be direct seeded or transplanted, although we highly recommend direct seeding. To ensure a good stand, we recommend planting Seeds every 12" along the intended row.
