Brilliant thinker? Hypocrite? Both? Wherever you land on Elon Musk, there is no doubt this richest man in the world’s thoughts and actions are all over the map and firing into the mesosphere. The multi-faceted Musk has endless curiosity, often controversial opinions and can be a real Hot Head when lashing out at his critics. CEO of electric car giant, Tesla, Musk is an active proponent of society adopting more sustainable energy consumption practices. This while he trashes public transportation and logs in hundreds of thousand of miles on his private jet each year. Strongly in favor of the “free market” with little government interference, Musk, nonetheless, enriches Tesla with billions of dollars in government subsidies. Earth is simply not big enough for this man’s ambition and brilliance. So, he founded SpaceX in 2002.
