On the Road’-Tour was Roger Waters’ second solo tour, following the release of his album ‘RADIO K.A.O.S.’ This 37-date tour covered most of North America, along with two sold-out shows in the UK at London’s Wembley Arena, and was noteworthy for its imaginative and theatrical production. The recordings on this album originate from the stop at the Colisée de Québec, Canada on the 7th of November 1987. True to Waters’ style, the performance featured many elaborate stage designs and visual effects, including the innovative use of lighting, circular screens, back projections and quadrophonic sound effects used to create an immersive experience to complement the storytelling aspect of the show.
