SpaGuard® 5 lb. Chlorinating Concentrate 42616BIO The sanitizing power of chlorination in concentrated granules. Use regular doses as a sanitizer and shock doses as an oxidizer. Granular stabilized chlorine Fast acting Quick dissolving Acts as a sanitizer and an oxidizer; no need for two products May be added directly to spa, no pre-dissolving needed To use Chlorinating Concentrate: Adjust the pH to 7.4-7.6. For startup: With the pump running, add 1/2 tsp. per 100 gallons every 15 - 20 minutes until 3 - 5 ppm free chlorine residual can be maintained. For maintenance: Use Chlorinating Concentrate as needed to maintain 3 - 5 ppm free chlorine residual. Chlorinating Concentrate may be needed nightly in a heavily used spa or as infrequently as once-a-week in a moderately used spa. For Superchlorination: Add 1 tsp. per 100 gallons directly to the spa with the pump running. Do not enter the spa until chlorine level drops to 5.0 ppm or lower.
