Ketone Urine Test Strips provide a quick, accurate way to test for ketosis in animals. When exposed to ketones in urine, the test pad reacts and changes color. The test strip may then be compared to the color chart on the bottle to identify ketone levels. 100 PackSample preparation:•Put the urine specimen into a urine collection cup or clean container•Immerse the reagent pad area of the strip in the urine specimen andwithdraw immediately. Remove excess urine by brushing strip against therim of the specimen container•Hold the strip(s) horizontally. Read test results after 40 second, thencompare the test area with the color chart on the bottle•Record results immediately•If unexpected or abnormal results are observed, re-read instructionsand retest
