Crock

These crocks are pretty slick for fermenting, like making sauerkraut and other old fashioned recipes. They are individually hand spun on a wheel by a single artisan in Wisconsin, thereby making each crock slightly unique with its own individual characteristics. Each has a matching lid (not airtight) included. The crocks are fired with hand-painted blue stripes and are thick sided to stave off chipping. As I mentioned, they are especially great for some fermenting recipes, as they keep the contents dark and cool.
