We'll spend 3 days together in class building cookware from scratch with 1700s and 1800s methods and equipment. You'll create copper cookware you can actually use and more. Come on over, use my hard-to-find tools, and build usable kitchenware! This 2026 workshop will be building a mini batterie, or set of handmade copper cookware you will be able to use in your own kitchens. We plan to build a small sauce pan, a baking sheet, and a stockpot with lid, as well as smaller 'practice' items like cups or mugs. The workshop is held in person at my Fredonia, Wisconsin copper shop. It includes snacks and refreshments, three catered meals, and dinner out with me! Class Dates:  Friday July 10; Saturday July 11; Sunday July 12, 2026 What You Learn: Review of tools used and needed and how to use them (and you get to practice!) How to build custom patterns of cones and straight-sided vessels Find the frustum of a cone Building a 1 quart sauce pan Build a baking sheet Build a stock pot and lid Solder
