1940s Sarreguemines French Faience Majolica Fruit Plates - Set of 5

A beautiful set of five vintage French majolica plates with fruit motifs (grapes, pears, cherries, plums and apples) by Sarreguemines France circa 1940. Each plate features a different fruit motif against a dark mustard yellow background and hand-glazed on both the top and bottom. Coloring varies slightly from plate to plate. They display beautifully all year round and are perfect for a French country, Mediterranean or European rustic decor. Set of five plates 7.5ʺ dia Made by the Sarreguemines Pottery in France circa 1930-1940 Great vintage condition, minimal wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks, normal crazing.
