1960s Italian Cantaloupe Melon Dinnerware Set

A very realistic trompe l'oeil mid-century Italian cantaloupe melon dinnerware set consisting of one large serving bowl and six large plates. This set is quintessential mid-century entertaining set and features bright red melon flesh and a very realistic green textured skin. The melon is a rich red finished with high gloss glaze. It is a fantastic set perfect for a Mediterranean themed dinner table. Seven-piece set Plates: 10.25" dia Bowl: 5.5"H x 10.75"  Made in Italy, circa 1960 All pieces in great condition, no chips. Wear consistent with age.
