A magnificent pair of guardian lions beautifully crafted of high fired ceramic and glazed in a vibrant turquoise blue. You often see these in a much smaller 7“ or 9” size but these stand 12.5” tall. This is a matched pair, with the female lion sitting atop a pedestal and holding a puppy beneath her paw. The female lion represents yin and symbolically protects the people dwelling in the home. The male lion has his paw on a ball that is carved out with geometric patterns and  signifies control over his domain and protection of his home.
