Let the festivities begin, ladies!  House of Ekam has always taken pride in bringing you closer to the Indian handicrafts which are not just labor intensive but also tell a tale of deep-rooted cultures and its people. Our collection, Aafreen celebrates the intricate imperfections of hand block printing, laced with a timelessness that also brings a sense of its meditative quality.  For the design inspiration, we walked back to the Mugal motif of poppies which was first introduced in textiles by Bridgette Singh. We at House of Ekam have redefined the same Mughal motifs with a modern touch that perfectly speaks to the tone of our brand.  The motif was first hand-sketched, where our intention was to keep the original motif’s soul intact but also to add a refreshing touch to it. The flowers are beautifully complimented with binding design elements like a pomegranate.
