Each Mihaela piece is built by a multigenerational family of artisans using hand-cut Romanian oak wood and features hand-applied natural oil finishes with a closely guarded process that takes up to three days to complete. Frames are craftsman-built from solid Romanian oak sustainably harvested by our artisans' family and cut from locally grown trees up to 250 years old. Hand-applied natural oil finishes accentuate the wood's natural grain and color variations and are a closely guarded secret exclusive to our artisans. Adorned with metal legs and hand-carved metal detailing. Each finishing process takes three days to complete per piece.
