An extraordinary find! These earrings feature two *natural* pearls. The pearls are baroque in form and feature glowing iridescence and a metallic finish. To highlight the nuances of their shape, curling prongs in 18k recycled gold wraparound the pearls, holding them like loving tendrils. Both natural and cultured pearls are formed when an irritant enters the mollusk causing it to respond to the irritant by coating it with iridescent nacre (the material that makes up pearl).
