Hovden Full Apron

  The Hovden Apron:   We use natural materials only: cotton, linen, and hemp.  These aprons are sturdy, washable, and wearable for many years.  They have a double-pocket in the front and cross-straps in the back.  The waist band includes extra-long ties. Available in sizes: S/ M, L/XL The aprons are sewn, one at a time, with lots of love in Minnesota. We hope you will love and treasure it as much as we do.    Inspiration: The inspiration for this apron came from all the women who have worked hard and cared for their families - always. The apron, or forkle (norwegian) was worn by women from morning ‘til night as their work on the homestead and as Mothers was a constant. The apron helped protect the few dresses they owned and it was easier to wash an apron or two, than the bigger shirts and dresses that they were wearing.
