This 12-strand rope is made from sk75 HMPE, a high-strength synthetic fiber known for being extremely light and incredibly strong. It offers the same or better break strength as steel wire rope of the same size, but it’s easier to handle and far lighter. It’s highly resistant to abrasion and flex fatigue, and can be spliced.
