A Pachas, a new Spanish wine brand from the Madrid D.O., means to share in Madrid Spanish slang. Founded by father and son duo Juan Carlos and Luis Llopart. The wine has a nose of Granny Smith apple, peach and saline paves the way for nectarine, apricot, rose petal and river rock flavors with a hint of salinity. Made from an indigenous grape (Malvar)that grows near Madrid, this medium-textured wine offers a nice sense of freshness that persists on the palate.
