Howell Abduction-Force Research Test Device precisely validates, demonstrates & calibrates Howell Ski Bindings. Includes: 6-foot by 6-foot by 2-inch aluminum-alloy test-frame. All frame components are to be assembled by purchaser using the supplied stainless-steel brackets and stainless steel bolts that are supplied. All assembly holes are pre-drilled. High-strength applied-force sailing-line, plus two 3-to-1 ratio yacht-racing blocks (pulleys). Applied-abduction-force transducer: testing range: 1 to 350-pounds, with over-load limiter. Electronic signal-conditioning (with automatic temperature balancing) and digital peak-load display; Applied-abduction-force ski-clamp-hardware; Released-ski preventer-hardware & rigging (requires minimum 18-foot ceiling); Stainless-steel boot-holding fixture and rigging (rigidly fixes any ski-boot — alpine, AT, telemark); 6 traceable-certified 25-pound calibration weights (each shipped separately); Biomechanical ACL-rupture threshold data.
