The Zagara Pendant features one of the most unique, handmade pendants in the collection. The bold centerpiece showcases a multi-color scarab piece of Venetian Glass, surrounded by diamonds. Every time this necklace hits the light, different hues of the glass emerge, making a strong statement.  The scarab-shaped impression was a widely popular motif throughout ancient Egypt. Modeled after the dung beetle, the scarab was closely connected with the sun god Khepri, who brought the sunrise over the horizon each day. Thus, it became a symbol of rebirth, regeneration, and protection in the afterlife.
