Description Testo 316-3 Refrigerant Leak Detector The Testo 316-3 Refrigerant Leak Detector is a rugged yet precise refrigerant detection instrument, capable of locating leaks as tiny as 0.15 oz per year. The 316-3 utilizes a heated diode sensor to accurately detect and give a fast response to such small leaks. The instrument automatically zeroes itself upon startup, and provides positive refrigerant leak detection even at sites already cluttered by an existing leak. Two D-cell batteries (which are included) will power the one-pound 316-3 for up to 16 hours of continuous use. The adjustable sensitivity and rugged housing of the 316-3 means that it is suited for even the toughest environments.
