1960 Rolex Explorer 1 1016 Gilt Chapter Ring Dial

Case & Bracelet Very Good case that has recently been polished and has very light wear from use. The watch comes with the non-hacking movement. The caseback is stamped: IV.60 Very Good 7206 Swiss rivet bracelet with 11 links and 58 end links. Bracelet has light stretch for its age. Clasp is stamped: 2 61. Dial Excellent glossy gilt dial with creamy markers. Comes with newer Tritium hands that have aged to be a few shades lighter than the markers. The glossy finish of the dial is in excellent condition with only very little wear. The gilt print and chapter ring are sharp. The luminous material on the markers and hands still glows briefly when put under a bright light, which is correct for dials from this time period. Accessories None The watch is running at COSC spec.
