After numerous request we have added our version of the tipping rail with a bit more substance than some other options you may see. We looked at every possible historical photo, studied size, a multitude of examples, and ultimately settled on a taller post. To our eyes, the short and for lack of a better term “dinky” modern versions offer neither function nor form. A strong wind could knock contents over the rail and virtually every element in the kitchen dramatically overwhelms the small size. We wanted scale, beauty, but most of all proportion. This is twice the height of the "miniature" versions so measure carefully. To order, add the components you need to create a custom package. We offer a 24" and 36" rail with a connector that hides beneath each center post for longer runs, as well as a center post (pass through hole), corner post (offset holes), and end post (one hole and finished end).
