The HRLBrass Switch Plate collection is forged of solid brass for accuracy and strength, offered in Polished and Burnished Brass, and left unlacquered to age gracefully with time.   A NOTE ON FINISHOur burnished and vintage finish is a living finish, applied by hand, and is made in small batches. There may be slight variation from product to product. It's what makes the finish special. We encourage you to check with us before placing a large order to ensure your order comes from the same batch. CARE AND CLEANINGUnlacquered brass is a lovely material that will naturally darken and age with use and exposure. Most of our customers never touch a knob or pull. Whatever you decide, do not use harsh chemicals or bleach. We always recommend a mild dish detergent and water for routine care. If the desire is to bring our polished finish back to its original condition a brass polish can be used, but please do not use this with any of our aged products (Burnished Brass, Antique Brass, Blackened B
