Kenya Kiamwangi AB
Coffee overview Kenya season continues with a coffee we loved three years ago, and we are excited to bring it back. Kiamwangi AB offers a heavier-fruited character compared to the Karani AA released in July. It has a more syrupy and sweeter body compared to the lighter, green-tea-like nuance the Karani AA has. This profile is a little more classic-Kenya. Coffee flavor profile Concord grape, apricot, pomegranate. Acidity: tartaricSweetness: syrupyBody: tart Brewing evaluation Rest: 30+ days recommended Filter eval day 1: Gabi Standard Recipe of 1:18 shows a vibrant cup with complimentary heavy sweetness, reminding of less-acidic stone fruits such as apricot. Bookmarked on either side of this are more characteristic tart fruits which Kenya is known for. We use 60 hardness, 20 buffer water heated to 198F in all of our recipes.
