The wood has been locally sourced, from the Dialium Indum species of tropical plants. The handle will be hand carved, using a simple machete and further shaped and finished on a home made belt grinder.Each Axe is custom made to order. Purchasing this trusty bushcraft axe, will initiate the forging process. The wood will be selected based off quality of the grain and hardness of the wood, while avoiding problematic knots. No axe will look similar, but the same trusted techniques in creating this tool will be applied. Please allow for 2 week production time, before shipment can be processed.
