Marguerite 18k Diamond OMC Ring

A true antique - emerging from the royal courts of Europe in the 18th century, the Marguerite style ring is coined by a central larger stone being surrounded by a halo or smaller stones to represent a daisy. It was intended to be a refined and elegant proposal reference to the gift of flowers. This stunning Victorian example is over 150 years old and features a 1carat old mine cut center with half a carat around its halo. A size 5.75 (can be sized and shows markings of previous resizing. 18k and no hallmarks present.
