My friend Rick LePage and I have been printing photographs for more than 20 years and we are passionate about the art of printing. We are excited to announce our next printing workshop, to be held in my Portland studio in February 2026. The practice of printing has been sadly neglected in this age of sharing digital images on phones and computer screens. While we have no problem with screens, we firmly believe that learning the art of printing will make you a better photographer in the field, and a better photo editor in your studio. Printing is a demanding process. The slightest weakness in an image is magnified in the translation from pixels to ink.
