Inchelium Red Softneck Garlic
Inchelium Red is an artichoke-type, softneck variety with a robust, lingering flavor and medium heat. It produces mid-sized, reliable bulbs with 4-12 big cloves in light purple wrappers. This hardy garlic is relatively easy to grow, and it stores very well, around 6-9 months if handled properly after harvest. For more info on the differences between softnecks and hardnecks see the growing instructions below. Garlic is sold in pound quantities. There are typically 50-65 cloves per pound; each clove successfully grown will produce a full bulb the following year.
