This Girl is on Fire Ring: 1960's Emerald Cut Ruby 10K Ring Received as a birthstone gift for a young lady in the late 1960's. Ring was too small to wear, so it was never worn. Details: Vintage from the 1960's, only worn once 10K Solid Yellow Gold, hallmarked STUNNING lab grown emerald cut 1.95 CARAT red ruby 7.78 x 6.4mm  Size 5, like new, worn only once One of a Kind:  We only have one of this sweet vintage ring. Since moving to NYC in 2010, I've worn one piece of vintage or handmade jewelry at a time without taking it off - something signifying a lesson I'm currently finding in my life.  Each piece I would wear until it somehow was taken off my neck, or removed from my finger - unexpectedly. And then on to the next lesson.  Why Vintage: There is something so beautiful about jewelry that was designed and created in a different era, often with artisanal methods we now deem old fashioned and inefficient -- but that's the joy - they took more time, more care, and you can feel and see
