The classic comfort of the ’57-style soft “V” neck profile is topped with 21 narrow-tall frets, providing thumb-over players with a vintage 7.25–9.5-inch compound-radius. Era-accurate tones are easily achieved, thanks to the Custom Shop’s hand-wound ’50/’51 Blackguard pickups, which are outfitted with ’51 Modified Nocaster wiring. Vintage flares range from the tuning machines, the bone nut, and the disk string tree, all the way down to the ’51-’54 brass barrel saddles in the bridge.
