Tall regal Brazil nut trees grow wild in the western Amazonian Rain Forest, in an area that covers portions of Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Our source works with JungleKeepers to conserve threatened habitat in the vitally important Madre de Dios region of the Peruvian Amazon. A staple of native Amazonians, Brazil nuts are an excellent source of B-complex vitamins and a good source of vitamin E and selenium.
