Shadow + Light | Paint, Sketch + Stitch, A Mixed Media Art Retreat June 27th-30th, 2024

We would love for you to join us for an exceptional creative experience that promises to inspire your imagination through the beauty of nature; whether you're just beginning your creative journey or have been creating for a while, this workshop will encourage you to find freedom and beauty in your way of creating. We will take advantage of the natural beauty of Hunter Moon Homestead by stepping outside the studio to collect visual imagery as a way into our art. By capturing beautiful moments with a camera and time to meander and sketch, we will observe how light and shadow become beautiful dance partners with nature and can inspire beauty and drama in our art. Back in the studio, we will bring everything we've gathered and create beautiful inky abstracts, fun sweeping charcoal flowers on paper, expressive painted landscapes, and delicate florals.
