The Inspired Journal | Mixed Media Journal Exploration Retreat September 12th-15th, 2024

Join Hunter Moon Homestead creator and artist, Kate Poole, for a transformative journey of self-expression. We will be exploring the powerful tool of journaling, using both visual and written expression. Tending to a creative journal helps to form a practice that assists in keeping creative goals in mind, feeds inspiration, and is a great opportunity to explore technique while learning. Delve into the art of journaling, a powerful tool that not only nurtures creativity, but also provides a structured space for exploration.  In this workshop we will begin 3 separate creative journals (one inspired by landscape, one inspired by botanicals, and another inspired by portraiture and the human form). In each journal we will explore a variety of mediums, and we will use our own poetry or prose as a prompt for developing corresponding images.
