We hand-split each bean and scrape the seeds and resin from the inside, then cut the beans into thirds before adding 100% of the beans to pure cane sugar at a rate of 16 beans for every 7.05 pounds of sugar. The beans, seeds, and resin combine with the sugar and go through a lengthy mixing and aging process for two months. When the beans have given up all their flavor and aroma, we sift the sugar to remove only the inedible bean pods.  Lastly, we seal in all that sweet tropical flavor in 7.5 & 13-ounce glass jars, all ready for you to enjoy.
