The reference 1443 has some key features that make it a gem for vintage Patek collectors—first, the case: A tank-style case measuring 38x21mm. The most important part is the casemaker. An engraved Key and the number 1 confirm this is a Mark One Wenger case. One of, if not, the most crucial case maker for Patek Philippe. Housed inside the Wenger case is a mechanical caliber 9-90, a beautifully finished, elongated octagon in-house movement.
