I was inspired by the way the Minneapolis artist community came together and transformed the plywood boards that protected the city from destruction during the protests into something beautiful. Artists took it upon themselves to help us see how numb our world has become to injustice, hate, oppression, and systemic racism. Art became a way to heal the city.
