Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LA Flea

Nike Air Force 1 “LA Flea”   As part of Nike’s major celebrations for the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, the Swoosh team has dropped another AF1 design. This time, it pulls inspiration from the open-air flea markets that pepper Los Angeles, which house a host of vintage and reworked items. This influence is seen most prominently in the Nike Air Force 1 LA Flea’s mix and match materials. Sail canvas makes up most of the upper while quarter panels have a textured weave design. Quilted nylon finds its place around the ankle panels. Connecting these different textiles are exposed hand-stitches along with a cross-hatched heel tabs, allowing the shoe to exude the streetwear mecca’s flair for breathing life into and reworking vintage pieces.
