You can attach size 36 (7/8 inch), size 45 (1 1/8 inch) or size 60 (1 1/2 inch) to make your covered button book markers.  In the example shown, I used size 45 (1 1/8 inch) cover button.  You can also glue on flat beads, paper punches, charms, gemstones, cabochons, silk flowers, etc. to create beautiful one of a kind book markers.
