Sony EV-S2000 is an analog Hi8 VCR and does not play digital8 tapes or some call it Hi8 digital, tapes recorded with Sony DCR-TRV series are digital8 format no matter what type of tapes were used. It comes with Audio video cable and remote control. Sony EV-S2000 & EV-C100 are the best Hi8 analog VCR ever made, they are very much identical, the only difference is that Sony EV-S2000 has TV tuner.
