  Remember leaping from shadow to shadow on lazy childhood summer days, pretending that anything the light touches was lava? The little games we made up as kids to while away the hours were nothing short of miraculous…and for those still in touch with that sense of childhood whimsy, they make for pretty phenomenal video game inspiration, too. SCHiM is an inventive 3D platformer that explores that simple, compelling concept, taking it to unexpectedly imaginative ends. In it, you play as a schim in search of their lost counterpart, deftly weaving from dark patch to dark patch as you navigate a relaxing, lively 3D-rendered environment. It’s all about seeing the world from a new perspective. Developers Ewoud van der Werf & Nils Slijkerman have filtered the mundane through the lens of the widely creative to create something wholly new, something that we at iam8bit admire & adore.  That’s why we leapt at the chance to work with them, and publisher Extra Nice on this: The SCHiM iam8bi
