T-Probe Outdoor RT-45 10 ft

The 10ft waterproof T-Probe Outdoor contains a DS18B20 temperature sensor with three wire connections: data, power, and ground. The joint between the cable and the sensor is molded in a low-temperature thermoplastic. This allows the sensor to be rugged as well as highly water-resistant. On this product, we use a CAT-5 cable to link the sensor to the RJ-45 connector, which is molded at manufacture. Please note that the RJ-45 connector is not waterproof.  The cable is insulated with PVC that has a temperature range of up to +60⁰ Celsius*. The sensor has a temperature range of -55⁰ C to +125⁰C that is supported by the molding media. The T-Probe Outdoor has been rated IPX7, making it waterproof to depths of up to 1 meter.  Temperature response, settling times, and a full spec sheet of the DS18B20 can be found here.
